Texas State Duathlon Championships!
The Darnd'st Du is a
5K Run/30K Bike/5k Run through the countryside of
San Marcos, Texas.
It starts and finishes on the
Tanger Outlet Center property at Centerpoint Road and IH 35.
The event benefits
CASA of Central Texas. In 2008, we raised $2,500 for CASA of Central Texas, Inc. Help us pass last year's mark by making a personal donation when you register.. |

| This is a
USAT
sanctioned event and all USAT Duathlon rules apply: especially no wheel suckin', no
headphones, no bein' on your bike w/o a helmet and no elbowin', bad mouthin' or whinin'!
You must have a
USAT membership or purchase a one day membership for $10.00.
You may purchase a one day membership when you pick up your packet. |

| This event is in
the dead of the summer, so be prepared to toast your buns; wear sunscreen, bring extra
fluids (there will be aid stations on the course throughout the race) and dress
accordingly. |

| POST-RACE
Refreshments include a summer BBQ w/burgers, hot dogs and your favorite road kill as
well as ICE COLD ONES (water and soft drinks). Go to the AWARDS page to view the
BIG Cash Prizes for 2009. THE EVENT WILL CAP AT 500 SO PLEASE REGISTER EARLY.
